Conceived as a harmonious residence for three families, the home explores the balance between togetherness and privacy through a carefully orchestrated arrangement of shifting architectural volumes. The design is guided by a series of staggered parallel planes that create a layered built form, allowing each family to occupy its own distinct domain while remaining connected to a larger shared environment. The resulting composition establishes a sense of individuality without compromising collective living.
The architectural language is defined by the movement of these planes as they slide past one another, generating moments of depth, openness, and visual connection throughout the residence. Rather than creating rigid separations, the design introduces subtle transitions between spaces, allowing the home to unfold as a continuous sequence of experiences. This layered approach enhances spatial fluidity while fostering a strong relationship between the different family units.
A layered residential composition of shifting planes and landscape thresholds creating interconnected yet private living environment.
Between the shifting volumes, a series of landscaped pockets, terraces, and transitional thresholds emerge as integral components of the design. These spaces act as extensions of the architecture, bringing natural light, ventilation, and greenery deep into the residence. The interplay between built form and open space creates a constantly evolving experience where framed views, shaded courts, and moments of pause enrich everyday living.

A restrained material palette and carefully articulated architectural forms reinforce the project’s timeless character. The staggered masses are softened by landscape interventions and open-to-sky spaces that blur the boundary between interior and exterior environments. The result is a residence that celebrates connected living through thoughtful spatial planning, creating a home where privacy, community, and nature coexist within a cohesive architectural framework.
